About Tennessee Christian School

- Folks have talked about a Christian school in Cookeville, Tennessee for years and efforts have been made again and again to start one.

- We are very happy to announce that Tennessee Christian School is a reality. A Board of Trustees was appointed in 2004. All paperwork has been completed with the federal government and the State of Tennessee.

- Tennessee Christian is tax exempt.

- Tennessee Christian has approximately 30 acres to build on just off of Interstate 40 and Highway 111. The exit number off of I-40 is 288 then go north one mile to the Highway 70 exit, turn right, then left onto Grandview. Tennessee Christian School is located on the same property as the Northeast church of Christ and Tennessee Bible College.

- Tennessee Christian School will start with three- and four-year-olds. The first building is already a reality. We will go through the 8th grade eventually. It will take us 9 years to get there.

- Tennessee Christian School will teach Bible morals and Bible conduct. It is a nondenominational school.

- Tennessee Christian School is not the work of one single congregation but the work of churches of Christ and individual members of the church of Christ.
